PAWS FAQ: Using
a Macintosh on the PAWS Network
1) configure TCP/IP
by clicking on the small arrows at the end of the field,
change CONNECT VIA to be your wireless card
change CONFIGURE to be Using DHCP server
Your TCP/IP screen should look similar to:

click on the close box at the top left of the TCPIP window, and
say SAVE to the subsequent dialog.
2) set up your wireless card
Some wireless cards require additional client software (drivers). We can
not provide this software, or help you install it. However, you should
be able to find the software and instructions on how to install it and
use it on your vendor's web site.
Some wireless cards require you to set the case-sensitive service set
identifier (SSID) for your RF network = uga **Note: not all wireless cards
require this.
3) log on to the PAWS network
Open your browser. You should see the PAWS log on screen. If you do not
you may need to clear your browsers cache.
