Install your wireless network card.
**IMPORTANT: You should have a copy of a Windows Workstation or Server CD
handy before starting these steps.
The first step is installing the network adapter in your machine. If the computer
comes pre-installed with an wireless card you need to make sure the card is
set up properly for the PAWS network. Most network cards come with Windows NT
drivers and installation instructions. If your computer is new and you are just
installing NT for the first time, many cards will be detected during the install.
When the network card has been installed you should see it in the Adapters portion
of your Network control panel. This can be accessed from the desktop by clicking
Start->Settings->Control Panel and double clicking the Network icon in the box
that pops up. The Network control panel should pop up and the adapter should
be under the Adapters tab when you click it.
Install TCP/IP
From the Network control panel select the Protocols tab. Select "Add" a protocol.
Select TCP/IP protocol and Add. It should ask you if you want to use DHCP
Say yes. Make sure that TCPIP is the only protocol installed. If other
protocols are installed remove them now by single clicking them and then clicking
Remove. You will have to reboot.
Set up your wireless card
